Story
Helen is a suburban girl working as a nurse. She is in search of a job in Canada. She is also in love with a boy who is in search of a job. Helen joins IELTC classes to go abroad and also works in a restaurant named Chicken Hub in a lavish mall. Her father is an insurance agent. As he is very fond of Helen, he doesn’t want Helen going to abroad. After an incident involving police inspector Ratheesh Kumar, Helen suddenly goes missing. The plot revolves around where Helen goes missing, and whether will she manage to survive and get back to her loving father.

Review
Helen was released on 15 November 2019 in India. The Malayalam film is a must-watch for its story with a brilliant screenplay. Anna Ben and Lal are perfect as dad & daughter. The supporting actors have lived in their roles, which makes the movie much more engaging. The music by Shaan adds more essence to this thriller. It’s hard to believe that Mathukutty Xavier is making his debut as a director as he pulled off this excellent writing with ease. It will be one of the best survival dramas ever made in Malayalam. Vineeth has one more successful venture coming from his productions.
